Description
Internet Brands is seeking a Senior Director of Marketing who will lead comprehensive marketing strategies and operations within our Legal vertical. This role will oversee all digital and affiliate marketing, reporting, budget planning, and will work cross-functionally to achieve desired growth objectives. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this role requires expertise in marketing planning, data analysis, campaign optimization, and team leadership. The ideal candidate is an innovative marketer with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage high-level projects across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Marketing Planning: Develop annual budgets and reforecast revisions based on performance and supply trends. Create monthly lead generation plans to meet volume and cost-per-lead (CPL) goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to adjust strategies in response to evolving market needs.
- Marketing Channel Oversight: Drive SEM, Social, Affiliate and TV marketing to achieve desired forecast volume, CPL, and budget outcomes.
- Affiliate Management: Manage affiliate relationships, including new partner discovery, contract negotiations, and performance analysis. Troubleshoot setup issues, oversee pricing negotiations, and coordinate partner communications. Approve affiliate invoices and manage compliance with invoicing and reporting standards.
- Reporting & Analysis: Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly marketing performance reports, including lead funnels, channel trackers, and trend analyses. Prepare and present key metrics and monthly volume forecasts to executive leadership. Reconcile costs and update forecasting models based on current data and trends.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Prepare and present updates for weekly marketing meetings, monthly volume presentations, and growth optimization projects. Lead or contribute to product update meetings, intake training, and prioritization sessions. Partner with internal teams to enhance reporting tools, troubleshoot system migrations, and implement technology upgrades.
- Budget & Financial Oversight: Ensure alignment between actual expenses and projections by reconciling monthly costs with accrual sheets. Provide strategic input for budget discussions and expense planning to support growth objectives.
- Team Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including marketing, product, tech, legal, and finance teams. Oversee a small marketing team and create an environment that fosters delivering high-quality results.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in marketing leadership, with proven success in strategy, analytics, and team management.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, affiliate management.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics tools, reporting platforms, and financial reconciliation processes.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities.

We expect the compensation for this role to have a range that starts at $150,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
